Customers within the USA:
Below are details and pricing for several shipping options, including First-Class Packages, Priority Mail Flat Rate, and the option to request a quote.
After payment, we will make every effort to pack and ship the order within 1-2 days. This may not always be possible if we are flooded with orders.
Please make sure your shipping address on the Brick Owl order matches the address on file with the method of payment.
On most orders, you can save 75 cents on shipping prices if your subtotal is at least $5, or $1.50 if subtotal is at least $10. Shipping costs are up to $10 off for orders over $75!
Requesting a Quote:
If you are unsure which shipping option is best, you can select this option. This may also be the only option if the order doesn't fit our other shipping methods.
- We will make every effort to ship the order within 1-2 days of receiving payment. Note that requesting an quote adds an extra step or 2 to the process, so instant checkout (if available) will always be a faster option if you are in a rush.
- We will NOT ship parts in a plain letter envelope to save shipping cost. The Post Office often rejects these and requires us to pay the extra few dollars for First-Class Packages. Plus the envelope may not fit through their letter sorting machines, and could get damaged or lost in shipping. After experiences with USPS shipping delays due to Covid-19, We also will not use any shipping method that does not include tracking.
USPS Ground Advantage (up to 1 lb):
First-Class Packages is a Zone-based shipping option, but to keep things simple, we are just charging a flat rate based on the size/dollar amount of the order.
- Delivery with Ground Advantage is typically within 5 business days.
- USPS automatically offers tracking for this option.
- Insured value up to $100 is included (for free), beyond that Insurance is available to purchase.

USPS PriorityMail Small Box/Padded Envelope Flat Rate (commercial):

We may opt for a Priority Mail Flat Rate padded envelope if the order doesn't fit in the box, these boxes are rather small but the padded envelope fits more, for the same price.

LOCAL PICKUP:
Now that our store has moved to a commercial space, we are offering a local pickup option. Our store is located in Belchertown, MA, near downtown.
After payment, we will message you on Brick Owl when your order is ready, or if you provide a cell phone #, we can send a text. Our store is open by appointment and some limited hours, which you can find on our Facebook page
(facebook.com/bensbrickstore) or on Google Maps. Most orders are ready within 1-2 business days.
PLEASE only use this shipping option if you are located in the Western Mass area and intend to pickup. If your order needs to be shipped, choose an instant checkout option if available, or request a quote. This is NOT a means to obtain free shipping, if you use this and aren't able to pick the order up, your order will be canceled and refunded, minus a 15% restocking fee.
International Customers:
We offer International Shipping to 34 countries. If we don't currently ship to your country, it's most likely due to shipping restrictions listed on the USPS website.
Please make sure your shipping address on the Brick Owl order matches the address on file with the method of payment.
On most orders, you can save 50 cents or $1 on shipping if your order subtotal is at least $5 or $10. Shipping costs are up to $10 off for orders above $75.00!
We will not falsify customs forms (e.g. showing a reduced item value or marking as a gift). Customs form will be marked as "Merchandise", the cost will reflect the total item cost (not including taxes or S/H). Any potential customs or import duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
International Simple Export Rate:
This is for packages up to 4 pounds (1.81 kg), and under $400 in value, with a size restriction
of 22 inches (56 cm) long and maximum length, height, and depth combined
must be under 36 inches (91 cm).
- Insurance is available for this shipping option, $1.35 per $100 of insured value, but you will need to Request a Quote.
- Shipping should take 1-4 weeks depending on destination.

Use this option if the order does not meet the weight/size requirements
of First Class, or if you'd prefer a different shipping method such as
Priority Mail (more expensive). Please specify desired shipping option
